The Interview Process and Training
The entire hiring process takes about a month, therefore, please plan accordingly. If your application is chosen, Someone from Human Resources will contact you regarding your fingerprints, background check and other necessary documents needed to move forward. Once the finger print process is complete you will be contacted for Orientation and then hands on training. The entire orientation takes 40 hours to complete. The hands on training is on going throughout the duration of the probation period.

When is the next test date?
There are no test dates because our exam is built into our application.
I took/passed the Consultants examination with another agency, can Le Blanc Consulting use those scores?
No, applicants must take the examination by LeBlanc Consulting administers.
I completed my Finger Prints with another agency, can LeBlanc Consulting just use those?
No, applicants must have the finger prints done by LeBlanc Consulting administers.
I have a degree or multiple degrees do I still have to take the online Test?
Yes, as of 1/1/2016 all consultants must take and pass the Consultants Examination with an 80% or higher.
Why are Test and Examinations necessary for Le Blanc Consulting?
Due to the population that Le Blanc Consultants provide services for, examinations are a way for the company to determine if a person is a good match for our Company and the Client Learners. This job may also require some travel and individuals that can communicate with diverse populations as a result testing is required.
I am scheduled to take the Consultant test, can you tell me how to prepare for the test or do you have a study guide available?
Although there is not currently a study guide available, however, one will be made in the future.
I need testing accommodations, can Le Blanc Consulting provide such accommodations?
Yes, Le Blanc Consulting provides testing accommodations based on the American with Disabilities Act. Please provide current documentation of your circumstances and we will be happy to accommodate you.
What is the work schedule?
Most programs are closed on holidays with the exception for Supportive Living of whom works on Holidays. The schedule may vary depending on what the Instructor and the client has worked out. In home Supportive Services Consultant and Supportive Living Services Provider work shifts that are primarily 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am. As an In Home Supportive Services Consultant and Supportive Services Living Consultant you may be asked to work any of these shifts. Including. For Supportive Living we are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Where will I be working?
All folks that are hired are primarily staffed within clients homes or within the clients community. However due to Covid-19 restrictions this may vary depending on the client. Some clients may be seen on-line, via telephone and in person as needed.
Can I have a criminal record and get hired?
Individuals will not be hired for any position if they have been convicted of a felony, as a juvenile or adult, in any state of federal jurisdiction that would have been a felony if committed in this state.
I took the test when am I getting my scores?
Scores will NOT be provided unless requested at the time of the exam. Then the scores will be sent approximately 2 months after testing. If an outside agency scores the test therefore it takes longer to get the results back.
I received my score and ranked on the list and I am waiting for an interview, when I am I going to be called?
Candidates are ranked by their score in either Band A or Band B. Interviewing, hiring and selection are at the discretion of Le Blanc Consulting based on staffing needs.
Can I be disqualified after taking an exam?
An applicant may be disqualified if they have taken the particular form of the test within the six (6) months immediately preceding the giving of the test which applied.

What is the Interview Process and Training?

Candidates considered for a position with Le Blanc Consulting must successfully complete a multi-level interview process, which includes a thorough review of background, references, credentials, application and resume information, recent evaluations and phone/in person interviews. The review process may also include a full-day interview and information sessions. If selected for a position, new hires must attend orientation and virtual training sessions. Lastly we provide an extensive hands-on training provided thereafter.
Can I work under the table for LeBlanc Consulting?
Absolutely NOT! We are currently looking to build our talent pool for opportunities as needs arise with professionals, this should not even be a question yet it does come up more frequently than not. Therefore, NO, We are NOT willing to work with scammers such as people looking to file false disability or unemployment insurance claims or people that want to "work under the table". PLEASE do not solicit us with questions about working "Under The Table". We report everything to our partners in Government.
What is a Full-time Position with LeBlanc Consulting?
Full time with LeBlanc Consulting is 160 hours a month.
