The President’s Volunteer Service Award & LeBlanc Consulting

The President’s Volunteer Service Award honors individuals who generously dedicate their time to serving others and creating positive change in their communities. This nationally recognized award celebrates volunteers who make a real difference across many sectors—including nonprofits like LeBlanc Consulting.

At LeBlanc Consulting, Inc. we are honored to be an officiating organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) since 2025. This prestigious award recognizes the dedication and commitment of individuals and teams who contribute their time and talents to make a significant impact in their communities and beyond.

By joining this program, our team members not only receive the recognition they deserve, but they also inspire others to take action and give back. Your volunteer service strengthens communities, supports our mission, and reflects the core values of compassion, leadership, and impact.

​You do not need to earn advancement within LeBlanc Consulting to be eligible. However, all volunteers must follow the required documentation and hour-tracking guidelines to receive an individual or team award.

This award is a powerful reminder of how volunteerism transforms lives—both for those who give and those who receive.
To qualify for the PVSA, including the Lifetime Achievement Award,  a volunteer or group must meet the following criteria of the program.

  • Be a legal US citizen or lawfully in the US
  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Not be a registered sex offender in any state
  • Be a member of a team, mentor / coach or a volunteer that is registered as a volunteer for LeBlanc Consulting
  • Must be a volunteer in good standing with LeBlanc Consulting
  • Does not receive compensation for their volunteer hours. (reimbursements or stipends do not disqualify claiming of volunteer hours.)
  • Cannot claim volunteer hours as part of a court / criminal requirement.
  • Must have properly documented hours that can be verified.

Individual Requirements
The PVSA celebrates American citizens and lawfully admitted permanent residents of all ages who have achieved a specific number of service hours within a 12-month period or over the course of a lifetime. This initiative, led by AmeriCorps and managed in partnership with the Points of Light Institute, shines a light on those who take action to engage in their communities in meaningful ways.

Criteria for Team Awards

In addition to individual awards, the PVSA and LeBlanc Consulting also recognizes teams. A team award can be earned by two or more people who achieve the required hours collectively. The total number of hours is based on the average number of hours per team member, which must meet or exceed the minimum for each award level according to their age group.

Since becoming an officiating organization, LeBlanc Consulting has presented PVSA awards to outstanding members of our teams and volunteers who have achieved significant milestones in volunteer service. These awardees have not only contributed substantial personal time but have also demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership in advancing the goals and impacting their communities.
