Purpose and Goals of Services
Le Blanc Consulting's Adaptive Skills Training Program is specifically designed to assist Judicially Involved Consumers to reintegrate into the community by empowering them to make positive decisions that will diminish their involvement in the criminal justice system with the ultimate objective of reducing recidivism. Consumers are provided Judicial Support Services and address the underlying behaviors that cause their judicial components after being released from jail. Consumers learn to create a new positive role in society, while adjusting to living on their own.

Adaptive Living Program Concept
We teach that Success in Adaptive living is gained by the work the clients invest to becoming empowered to make healthy choices within their community. We encourage a client to embrace the roles that they identify with within their community as a leader, teacher, parent, partner, sibling and friend. We know that fulfilling all these roles can be a challenge for any client, and it often cannot be achieved alone, therefore we provide tracks, wrap around support. 
Entrance Criteria for Clients
  • Consumers who are age 18 years and older who have a primary diagnosis within the DSM IV.
  • Consumers with a full scale IQ in the mild to moderate range of intellectual functioning.
  • Consumers who’s disability or mental health relates to involvement in criminal justice system at various levels (Probation, Parole, or on Diversion or mandated by the Court).
  • Consumers that have or exhibit a broad range of Mental Health Disorders.
  • Consumers that have or display a history of substance abuse or chemical dependency.
  • Clients of who require developmental assistance and enhancement of social/recreational skills.
  • Consumers that need improvement on personal hygiene, grooming and other daily living.

From Correctional Institutions into Track A or Track B

An assessment will be conducted with each client to determine which track they will go into. The assessment is conducted by a Trained and Experienced Professional to assure that the clients are getting the best services that we can provide. If it is found that a client is not a good match into our program then a referral may be made into a program that is a better match. 
Track A

Clients that fall into track A regional center clients that require help clients in this program will obtain a support person to assist with daily needs. 
Track B

Clients that fall into track B are out patient Mental Health Clients where not only will clinical assistance be provided the client will also get a case manager to assist with daily activities. 
Our comprehensive adaptive living skills program will teach or provide one to one assistance to consumers under three phases (The initial phase, transition phase, & the implementation phase). During this time consumers will learn the following:

Adaptive Living Skills Desired Outcome & Plan 
Outcomes are specific and goal-related for each consumer and their family relationship. Support systems are encouraged and useful for consumer success. Similar to other service provider programs, a healthy community of support is critical for our clients’ success. Our clients can achieve and reach their full potential in the areas such as, independent living, judicial compliance, individual health and nutrition, community awareness and safety, career exploration, financial literacy, communication, money management.

Adaptive Living Exit Criteria. 
Ultimate goal for the consumer is to successfully complete probation, parole, the diversion program. Any consumer who exhibits aggressive and/or inappropriate behavior that represents a danger to self or others may be asked to exit the program.

Getting Started
It's easy to get your services started. 
We'll be happy to talk about your unique needs and establish a customized plan of care. If Le Blanc Consulting believe we have the capacity to provide appropriate services, a support plan and personalized budget are created with input by all members of the individual's Circle of Support (friends/family/ supporters). The plan includes a proposed timeline, a transition calendar, and specific information about the individual being served.Once the completed proposal is reviewed by the individual and his/her Circle of Support, the completed assessment is delivered to the Regional Center for approval, and a start date to begin providing services is established.

Step 2:  Work together with us and your regional center to create an Individual Support/Care Plan and Schedule
Step 3:  Receive your quality in-home supportive services
Step 4:  Enjoy and provide us with your feedback. (Yes, we need your periodic feedback.  It's important that you are satisfied.)
