Family Visitation Supportive Services

What is Supervised Visitation Monitoring?

Supervised visitation allows parents in high conflict or high risk situations access to their children in a safe and supervised environment. The non-custodial parent that has access to the child does so only when supervised by a Professional Supervised Visitation Monitor. Supervised visitation is used to protect children from potentially dangerous situations while allowing parental access and providing support for the child-parent relationship.

Mission: Protecting all childhood now for stronger families tomorrow.

Vision: A world where children grow up with pleasant memories of childhood and family with healthy relationships with the people they call family. The focus of our programs is to ensure the safety and well-being of children when they are caught in the middle of issues such as divorce, domestic violence, substance abuse, and/or child abuse.This program provides support to both parents to assure a healthy and safe visit.

Values: We believe...
  • All children have the right to be kids and to feel safe and free from harm in mind, body, and spirit;
  • Children are hopeful and resilient, deserving of our community’s commitment to their healthy, safe, and nurtured growth;
  • Children have a right to grow up knowing and having meaningful relationships with their parents and other people in their lives;
  • Parents deserve the foundation to be good parents and the skills and tools to frame healthy relationships; and
  • Children who grow up feeling safe and valued will be better parents, thereby breaking the cycle of poor parenting and violence.

What activities can I do with my child during a supervised visit?

We always adhere to any stipulations in the court order. We also want you to enjoy your visits and do activities that you usually do with your child. The Supervisor will meet with both the drop-off parent and the visiting parent; however, neither parent will have contact with the other parent unless the court allows contact. The drop-off parent will immediately leave the area and the supervisor will take the child (ren) to he visiting parent and the visit will begin.
