Program Coordinator  Supervisor​

Position/Title:  Program Coordinator Supervisor
Supervisor:  Program Manager & Human Resource
Department:  ILS, Parenting, SLS
Jobs Supervised: Coordinators
Hours of Work: Full time to be assigned based on consumer needs.
Salary Range:  $21,120 - $65,000 per year (DOE) 

About this Position:
Supervises Coordinators in the day-to-day operational activities of the program. The program/project is usually focused to a single purpose, of educational services. Duties typically include program implementation and administration, internal and external operational/administrative liaison, program marketing, Instructing Clients, Communicating with coordinators  and providing positive leadership in their day to day activities all while assisting with hiring and reporting.

The ideal candidate understands the driving forces behind client's, and staff behavior. They should be highly analytical and focused, but with keen insight into human behavior and motivational forces. We’re looking for someone to facilitate in the design of our programs for our clients so they can succeed in their life goals and have knowledge of what the coordinators role is to assist with the directions and leadership skills. This job involves both short- and long-term programs, that inspire,  and attract audiences from all walks of life.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provides administrative support in the development, implementation, and marketing of program function and assist in assigning clients to Instructors.
  2. Serves as a principal liaison between clients, and staff, Management and Regional Center, Management and Instructors and/or external constituencies on day-to-day programmatic, operational, and administrative issues; facilitates training, meetings, special projects, and problem resolution.
  3. Coordinates teams and activities of support staff, and clients. Maintains contact with clients on a monthly basis to oversea instructors work with clients. Spot check instructor visits with clients.
  4. Collects and analyzes data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains program/project records.
  5. May perform specialized activities of a programmatic nature in direct support of the accomplishment of program objectives and protocol.
  6. May supervise and train lower level staff, student employees, volunteers, and/or interns, as appropriate.
  7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  8. Coordinates and Attends Bi-weekly meetings with Program Instructors. 
  9. Attends Weekly meeting with Program Manager, Human Resources and Administrative Assistant. 

PLEASE NOTE: We Believe that the best way for anyone to fully understand our passion for client services is for them to work with clients. Therefore majority of our staff members serve multiple roles which may include office duties and one to one client services with multiple clients.

Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachlors Degree; or at least 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • Ability lead a team of individuals Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Records maintenance skills.
  • Ability to lead and train staff and/or students.
  • Ability to interact with students, faculty and/or staff in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
  • Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques.
  • Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
  • Advanced writing and editorial skills.

Distinguishing Characteristics
  • Position requires: a) independent coordination of all day-to-day aspects of a specified program activity; b) program planning, implementation, and monitoring; c) implementation of effective operational/administrative policies and procedures specific to the achievement of the objectives of the program; d) writing, editing, and publication of marketing, promotional, and/or educational materials and integrated reports specific to the program; e) day-to-day team interaction with, liaison between, and coordination of a wide range of internal and external constituencies involved in program activities; f) planning, preparation, and management of program budgets and expenditures.

Conditions of Employment
  • This position is represented by the Program Coordinator Supervisor. 
  • If this position is assigned to the Instructors, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all LeBlanc Consulting rules and regulations is required. This position is responsible for the overseeing of instructor/client daily activities and reports. 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
  • No or very limited physical effort required.
  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
